General Show Commands

  • show int status | exclude _(value)_
  • show int status | i _(value)
  • show tcp brief – display description of TCP connection endpoints
  • show ip protocols

Layer 2

  • show interface x/x switchport – display switchport statistics for an interface
  • show spanning-tree root – displays information about the root bridge.
  • show spanning-tree blockedport – displays blocked ports on the bridge
  • show udld interface x/x – output from Unidirectional Link Detection per interface
  • show etherchannel summary– summarized information per etherchannel
